INJURY REHAB

Move Better Again

Science-Backed Rehab

Injuries and pain can develop from sport, work, or everyday life, often affecting how you move and function day to day. At Athleek in Weymouth, we treat a wide range of musculoskeletal issues including back and neck pain, shoulder injuries, knee and ankle problems, muscle strains, tendon injuries, and overuse conditions. Our experienced sports therapy team uses an evidence-led approach to assess the root cause of your pain and create a personalised rehabilitation plan. By combining hands-on treatment, targeted exercise, and movement retraining, we focus on reducing pain, restoring strength and mobility, and helping you return to normal activity feeling stronger and more confident.

Understanding Common Injuries.

Overuse injuries develop when repeated stress is placed on muscles, tendons, or joints without adequate recovery. These injuries tend to build gradually, presenting as ongoing pain, tenderness, stiffness, or swelling. Common examples include shin splints, runner’s knee, and swimmer’s shoulder, often affecting athletes who train frequently or increase load too quickly.

Acute injuries occur suddenly, usually as a result of a fall, direct impact, or an awkward or explosive movement. They often cause immediate pain, swelling, and a noticeable reduction in movement or strength. Typical examples include ankle sprains, muscle strains, and cartilage injuries such as meniscus tears.

Why Athleek Is Trusted for Injury Rehab

At Athleek, our therapists are movement specialists with a strong understanding of human biomechanics and injury rehabilitation. We carry out comprehensive assessments to identify the root cause of your pain, taking into account your injury history, current symptoms, and how the issue affects your daily activities. Using this information, we create a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan designed to reduce pain, restore movement, and lower the risk of future injury.

Build Beyond Rehab

Modern rehabilitation goes beyond simply treating the symptoms of an injury. At Athleek, we take a holistic approach that looks at both the injury and the movement patterns that may have contributed to it. Our therapists focus on restoring mobility, strength, and control so your body can move more efficiently.

Where appropriate, patients are given a structured rehab program delivered through our app, allowing you to easily follow your exercises and enabling us to track your progress as you recover.
